ARROWXL APPOINTS NEW UNIFORM SUPPLIER TO STRENGTHEN TEAM IDENTITY

ArrowXL, the UK’s largest and longest established two-person home delivery specialist, has appointed Contego Safety Solutions as their new uniform supplier as part of its commitment to enhancing service efficiency and maintaining a professional corporate image.

The decision to select Contego, a leading national stockist, supplier, and distributor of safety clothing and equipment, comes after a rigorous selection process by the ArrowXL Procurement team; initiated by feedback from employees via the ‘People Forum’ who wanted to appoint a single ‘high quality’ apparel supplier for all of the AXL hubs.

Contego will provide ArrowXL with over 10,000 items of clothing a year for their driver and warehouse teams and will run a number of training sessions across the AXL sites to provide web portal demonstrations for all customer service staff.  The web portal will reduce ordering times and deliver cost efficiency through bulk orders.

They will also supply a new high-performance t-shirt, designed in collaboration with the AXL team, featuring moisture-wicking fabric to ensure comfort and functionality during day-to-day operations.  The new uniform will be provided to all of AXL’s delivery crew reflecting a unified and professional appearance consistent with the company’s brand values.
