BCMPA PROMOTES THIRD-PARTY FOOD AND DRINK SECTOR SUPPORT AT IFE MANUFACTURING
The BCMPA will be showcasing its versatile and free website search facility as a valuable resource for retailers, brands and manufacturers in finding 3rd party solutions for contract manufacturing and packing requirements, at IFE Manufacturing from the 20th – 22nd March at ExCeL, London.
Co-located with the IFE International Food & Drink Event, Hotel, Restaurant & Catering (HRC) and The Pub Show, IFE Manufacturing is a dedicated trade show for the food and drink sector, and forms part of the world’s largest food, drink, and hospitality event.
The BCMPA – which connects brands with contract manufacturers – will be exhibiting at the show, along with four of its members: Imperial Food Packing, Place UK, Storefast Solutions and Universal Flexible Packaging, joining more than 5000 food and drink professionals.
As always, this year’s IFE Manufacturing will provide unparalleled networking opportunities, and a wealth of opportunities for brands, manufacturers, and retailers to engage in face-to-face conversations with 3rd party solutions providers.
An extensive range of manufacturing services offered by BCMPA members will be highlighted at the show, including NPD, formulation, filling, blending, chilled, frozen, IQF, tempering, cold press, hot fill, aseptic, retort, carbonation and HPP, together with a range of different packaging options, from sachets to pouches, bottles, cans, vacuum packs, bag in box, stick packs, pots, tubs and more.
Whatever the requirement, be it ingredients and packaging solutions, or manufacturing, processing services and packaging technology, visitors will be able to find the solutions to optimise processes and improve their business.
The BCMPA’s free online search facility has witnessed significant growth in enquiries in the last year, as customers increasingly recognise the commercial and operational advantages in third-party collaboration.
Emma Verkaik, the BCMPA’s Membership & Marketing Director, is thrilled to be attending the return of this vital show; “IFE Manufacturing once again will offer customers the chance to meet with solution providers face to face and discuss the ways in which they can get their products to market, and we are delighted to be exhibiting once more.”
In addition to the opportunities presented by visiting stands, a wide-ranging seminar programme will provide insights to several key areas, including packaging trends, sustainable packaging, consumer behaviour towards healthy eating, and scaling up of production from kitchen to factory floor.
Verkaik added: “With continuing supply chain fragility, and challenging trading conditions, the role of outsourcing has never been more important, a trend felt across all areas of contract manufacturing and packing, and in particular the food and drink sector. Our members deliver effective solutions day in, day out, and IFE is the perfect platform to showcase their growing importance for brand and retailer supply chains.”
