GateHouse Logistics Aims to Extend Non-Competing Partner Blocks in 2018.
GDPR-compliant data sharing and distribution firm targets global leadership in secure freight visibility by extending its network of business partners
Logistics data unifier and aggregator GateHouse Logistics A/S has announced that the year 2018 will see it develop a vast network of non-competing business partners in Europe and North America as part of its drive to make ghTrack the de facto cloud service for secure data sharing and distribution in the supply chain.
A number of business relationships with leading providers of supply chain management solutions and transport management solutions on both sides of the Atlantic will be announced in the coming weeks and months.
Partners build their own business-specific logistics solution on top of the ghTrack unified and secure data stream service to enrich their existing solutions. This is well in line with GateHouse Logistics’ goal of enabling freight visibility across the industry. GateHouse Logistics partners benefit from a short time to market by enabling their services to be “ghTrack-Powered” utilizing the freight visibility network of GateHouse Logistics.
“GateHouse Logistics pioneered secure data sharing and distribution in the supply chain and has already made giant strides in bringing data sanity to the European freight industry in recent years,” says Jesper Bennike, CEO, GateHouse Logistics. “Through an extended network of road carriers, our goal for the year 2018 is for ghTrack to become the de facto non-competing freight visibility service on both sides of the Atlantic.”
Bennike’s remarks about bringing data sanity to the supply chain relate to the ghTrack service being the only platform on today’s market that takes logistics data from all telematics systems and transforms them into one data stream. Gone are the days when transport buyers and shippers had to use diverse systems to get access to logistics data and have real-time visibility of their goods in transit.
ghTrack is today the most secure data sharing and distribution platform in Europe and the only General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliant system on the market.Thousands of independent carriers are signed up on the ghTrack service and are ready to share key logistics data with their customers.
