QUECLINK BOOSTS COMMERCIAL FLEET TECHNOLOGY CONNECTIVITY AND COMMUNICATION WITH NEW 5G ROUTER

Queclink Wireless Solutions, a global provider of IoT devices and solutions, has launched a 5G router for the commercial fleet marketplace that supports the most advanced vehicle technology and monitoring systems. Boasting high-speed data transfer, unique connectivity and accurate tracking, it has been designed to meet the growing need for real-time fleet data processing and communication capabilities.

“Modern commercial fleet vehicles possess numerous IoT systems and devices that rely on a fast and robust transfer and analysis of data,” explains Vernon Bonser, UK Sales Director of Queclink Wireless Solutions. “We have developed a 5G router solution that offers premium quality and unique features at an affordable price to cope with the complex communication needs of the driver, vehicle and fleet.”

Benefitting from 5G’s low latency and enhanced bandwidth, the router can transmit data simultaneously from multiple systems, sensors and devices, so fleets can understand driver and vehicle performance with far greater insight, accuracy and immediacy. In addition, it uses the highest specification Qualcomm CPU chip – previously only available in premium router solutions elsewhere in the marketplace – for advanced processing performance and stability.

The 5G solution also possesses the most comprehensive range of connectivity options, including Wi-Fi 6 – where most devices currently only offer Wi-Fi 5 – as well as industry-first Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and RS232/RS485 serial ports. This enables the integration of sophisticated features, functionalities, and ancillary equipment such as IoT sensors, monitors and cameras.

“The secret to our success has always been to offer unique features over and above what is available from competitors, which is making us partner of choice within the commercial fleet marketplace. This has already been demonstrated with the launch of our all-in-one smart dashcam, which has become one of the most popular video telematics devices over the past 18 months,” adds Vernon Bonser.
